hello lovelies! (: i've been thinking of opening a little blogshop! it might be seasonal, only when i have something pretty to get out of my closet, but i have to save up some money just in case. ;) hahaha. and and, i have yet to start that postcard swap i was talking about! definitely this week, though. i'll try. today, i went to the zoo after years and years. i felt like such a kid! (: it's such a good feeling. and now, i'm happy but tired and my toes are cold from the rain this evening. here are pictures!

the sky couldn't make up its mind today so, we bathed in sunlight and watched car headlights dance and sparkle in the rain.

i brush off my apprehensions, and at the touch of many reminders, i'm dazzled by how much i have to be grateful for.

i've never experienced winter before. but i so want to! i want to touch snow and get my cheeks flushed pink, slip on the walkway, huddle over the fireplace indoors, have cloudy breath. maybe even make a snowman! these are among my favorite winter pictures.

makes my heart feel warm and fuzzy and my fingers close around a mug of hot chocolate and smile with my head down. (:

oh, how my week has been boring thus far. earlier this evening, i was feeling down and gloomy at the prospect of another day of no agenda. but i read some blogs and listened to some mellifluous music and i just felt better and content. hahah. mood swings drive me crazy sometimes.

and, i was reading this post on HILDA GRAHNAT and i thought of having a swap too! a postcard swap with bloggers/readers from all over the world other than Malaysia. (: i'll definitely be having one soon, so stay tuned!

today, i was reading adviceforallmychildren and it cheered me up almost instantly! one of the many things i like most about blogging is that you can help others learn and grow and also enlighten and inspire them, whether you know it or not. (: it's a beautiful thing. and it is exactly what i want to achieve with my blogging. i know i might not be achieving half of those things now but i'm definitely working on it. ;)

i had my first macaroons, ever today. i love everything about Whisk, the little cafe in that big mall. (: when i arrived home, it started raining heavily. i sat on my bed, listening to the rain pitter-patter on the roof. they whisper to comfort us, i promise you. lastly, i bought sickeningly sweet pink things today, they are utterly adorable, aren't they?

we haven't known each other since we had one-digit ages and we don't see each other every week and we don't call each other everyday. but that's all okay because you're one of the true best friends i ever had! i just felt like letting you know how grateful i am for you being there every time, especially when things got so tough. you listened and cheered me up. thank you for your love and support. though we've had some ups and downs, we'll work through them cause i don't ever want to lose you. (: i've had so much fun during every minute of our friendship, you are a beautiful soul. i love you.

i must say though, this week, i finished season 2 of The Mentalist in 2 days and i watched Eat Pray Love, Charlie St. Cloud and When In Rome! (: ahhh, that makes a girl happy. the movie i enjoyed most was Charlie St. Cloud. hehe. Zac Efron is waaaay better than he was 3 years ago. i'm not gonna spill anything from the movie just in case some of you haven't watched it. ;)

these photos are from the weekend. i love the picture of the white flowers. <3 they look so vulnerable and lucid. then, on Saturday, i had a light lunch at this quaint little place that i often pass by but never really went into. i love, too, the decoration there.
