you're used to being told you're trouble

 travelling lovers
 (i think i ride on trains too much)

 first proper self-portraits with the 50mm 1.4!
 a curious tree draped with lovely, colourful, torn pieces of cloth

 Trafford being all cute and happy
 a dragonfly that fell, clung to hands and took a few tries before being free again
 a quick, brave shot inspired by this
 city blocks from the train
tourist family in the city

a passage i love to read that inspires me;

"Among other things, you'll find that you're not the first person who was ever confused and frightened and even sickened by human behaviour. You're by no means alone on that score, you'll be excited and stimulated to know. Many, many men have been just as troubled morally and spiritually as you are right now. Happily, some of them kept records of their troubles. You'll learn from them — if you want to. Just as someday, if you have something to offer, someone will learn something from you. It's a beautiful reciprocal arrangement. And it isn't education. It's history. It's poetry."

-"The Catcher in the Rye" by J. D. Salinger

I love the feeling of experimenting with a new lens. I love the first one especially! The light and the shadows are really nice.

Best quote from The Catcher in the Rye! I was just discussing that book with a friend today haha. Hope you are doing well, Tasha! And what we discussed over email is going smoothly! :)
