the last bits of august

(photographs from the whole week)

today we lied on the prickly glass, squinting into the skies above with the soundtrack to Amélie that was slowly inviting me to a quiet, summery sleep. there is some ineffable element in nature and music together that brings me back to life and feeling alive. i imagine the breeze taking away with it all the heaviness in me and i feel light again. we talked about the trees too, their peacefulness; "my grandma used to tell me to be quiet when i'm out in the night-time because the trees are sleeping."

I love how you edited that photo of you lying on the grass! And my favourite is the last photo in this post.

you really do capture life beautifully! I love what your grandma said :) trees are my favorite.

And to answer your question, I did not really edit the photos! Just did a little brightening on them :)

Hope you're doing well, lovely lady!

I always feel so weirdly nostalgic when summer comes to an end, these pictures remind me of that!
