the last bits of august
















(photographs from the whole week)

today we lied on the prickly glass, squinting into the skies above with the soundtrack to Amélie that was slowly inviting me to a quiet, summery sleep. there is some ineffable element in nature and music together that brings me back to life and feeling alive. i imagine the breeze taking away with it all the heaviness in me and i feel light again. we talked about the trees too, their peacefulness; "my grandma used to tell me to be quiet when i'm out in the night-time because the trees are sleeping."
