how to be happy.

monochrome madness! (i have been loving it so much lately)

i have come to realize that eventually, the only way i could be ever happy is to be happy for others. it instills a calm peace in my heart. selflessness is quintessential sometimes and not selfishness (as it is our human nature to be). to be happy for others makes me want happiness for myself, most especially if the person you're happy for isn't yours to be happy with.

"... from the beginning of time,
in childhood, I thought
that pain meant
I was not loved.
It meant I loved."

— an excerpt from "First Memory" by Louise Glück

Oh you look so pretty!
And I love the last picture with these lovely hands, and the one with the leaves' shadow on the ground.
Your pictures and words are all so deep and true, I totally understand what you mean (feeling a bit like that nowadays).
Love,
Macha :)

oh black and white just adds this lovely emotion to any photos! it's so much more beautiful to the soul to be selfless than to be selfish. there should be more people like you in this world

I love your black and white photographs. The contrast, the lines, everything is just perfect.
