Great Ocean Road!

skipping forward a week into my Melbourne trip! :)

ah! editing these images took me two and a half days and it felt like an eternity. these are the ones i was happiest with from the day i went on a tour to the Great Ocean Road!

i went alone on the one-night tour and it was such an amazing experience that is just beyond words. everything was beautiful, people were so nice and i felt so blessed and lucky. travelling alone did somewhat open my eyes and made me realize that i definitely want to do more of it, maybe even incorporate it largely in my life. i'm planning to work and save up for my dream travels!

also, this was my first try at doing proper editing on landscape photos, (because i've not cared much for them before and also because this time, these are photos of the most beautiful places i've ever been to) and i'm quite pleased with how they came out and i hope you would be too :)

hope you're all having a great week xxx

p.s. if any of you are on flickr, go on and add me as a contact! i'd love to get to know you :)
or if you don't, i'd appreciate it if you checked my work there! (some of these photos are on there and they look amazing on the new layout, just be sure to press L!): my flickr

Incredible pictures of an impressive landscape! Love such moments where the wild nature reminds us how small we are.
And it's funny, a friend of mine was there 1 or 2 weeks ago!

Oh and I just created a Twitter account to compensate for Google Reader's death, and I'm now following you on. So if you want to keep in touch it's here: @highly_beloved !

Such beautiful photographs! Travelling alone is something, isn't it? I travelled on my own for the first time this year as well, and though I was never truly "afraid" of the idea of doing it, I came home feeling less scared than ever. It really did open my eyes. Nothing seems impossible now, and I know that as soon as I finish university, I will start travelling. I hope we can meet somewhere :D

great photos! i've never been to the great ocean road but i've heard it's wonderful and my whole family has been at different times. i'll definitely have to go one day, i feel like i've hardly seen any of the touristy sights in my own country but i'm sure they're worth seeing.

Love your photos. Glad you enjoyed your trip. Did you try the Great Ocean Road App while on the road?

The editing of these photos is absolutely incredible! I had a road trip along the Great Ocean Road at the beginning of last year, and the editing on these photos makes me feel as small as when I was gazing at the 12 apostles!
